TP4054

TP4054 is a perfect single-chip constant current / constant voltage linear power management chip for lithiumion batteries.It's portable and small in size Use.What's more, TP4054 is specially designed for USB power  supply specifications.Due to the internal MOSFET structure, external resistance and blocking diode are not  required in application.In high energy operation and high peripheral temperature, the thermal feedback can  control the charging current to reduce the chip temperature.  

The charging voltage is limited to 4.2V and the charging current is regulated by resistance.After reaching  the target charging voltage, when the charging current is reduced to 1 / 10 ofthe set value, The TP4054 will  automatically end the charging process.TP4054 can also be set in the stop working state to reduce the power  supply current to μ A 2 5 . 

TP4054 ensures that the chip will automatically enter the protection state when the battery is connected  reversely, so as to ensure that the IC will not be broken down and lead to battery self discharge accidents.Other features include: charging current monitoring, input low voltage blocking, automatic  recharging and signs of full and start charging.

TP4057

TP4057 is an excellent linear charger with constant current and constant voltage for single lithium ion battery.TP4057 is packaged in SOT23-6 package with less peripheral components, which makes it very suitable for portable products, and suitable for power supply of USB power supply and adapter power supply. 

Based on the special internal MOSFET architecture and anti reverse charging circuit, TP4057 does not need external detection resistor and isolation diode.When the external environment temperature is too high or in high power applications, the thermal feedback can adjust the charging current to reduce the chip temperature.The charging voltage is fixed at 4.24 V, while the charging current can be set externally through a resistor.When the charging current drops to 1 / 10 of the set value after reaching the final floating charge voltage, the chip will terminate the charging cycle. When the input voltage is disconnected,TP4057 will enter sleep state, and the battery leakage current will drop below 1uA.The tp4057 can be set to stop mode, when the static current of the chip drops to 25uA. 

TP4057 also includes other features: battery temperature monitoring, undervoltage locking, automatic recharging and two status pins to show charging and charging termination.

TP4056

TP4056 is a complete CC/CV linear charger for single cell lithium-ion batteries. it is specifically designed to work within USB power Specifications. 

No external sense resistor is needed and no blocking diode is required due to the internal P-MOSFET architecture.Thermal feedback regulates the charge current to limit the die temperature during high power operation or high ambient temperature .The charge voltage is fixed at 4.2V,and the charge current can be programmed externally with a single resistor. The TP4056 automatically terminates the charge cycle when the charge current drops to 1/10th the programmed value after the final float voltage is reached. 

When the input supply (wall adapter or USB supply) is removed the TP4056 automatically enters a low current state dropping the battery drain current to less than 2μA.The TP4056 can be put into shutdown mode reducing the supply current to 55μA. 

Other features include Battery temperature monitor, under-voltage lockout, automatic recharge and two status pins to indicate charge and charge termination.
