The SMxx Series is designed for applications
requiring transient overvoltage protection
capability. They are intended for use in voltage and
ESD sensitive equipment such as computers,
printers, business machines, communication
systems, medical equipment and other
applications. These devices are ideal for situations
where board space is at a premium.
This series has been specifically designed to
protect sensitive components which are connected
to power 、 data and transmission lines from
overvoltage caused by ESD(electrostatic
discharge), CDE (Cable Discharge Events),and
EFT (electrical fast transients).
The NUP2105L has been designed to protect the CAN transceiver in high−speed and fault tolerant networks from ESD and other harmful transient voltage events.
This device provides bidirectional protection for each data line with a single compact SOT−23 package, giving the system designer a low cost option for improving system reliability and meeting stringent EMI requirements.
The LGSOT05CLT1G is a dual monolithic voltage suppressor designed to protect components
which are connected to data and transmission lines against ESD . It clamps the voltage just
above the logic level supply for positive transients , and to a diode drop below ground for negative
transients . It can also work as bidirectional suppressor by connecting only pin1 and 2.
Ultra low capacitance: 0.3 pF typical (I/O to I/O)
Ultra low leakage: nA level
Low operating voltage: 5V
Low clamping voltage
Up to 4 data lines and one power line protects
